in Space
One of the
most popular space-related misconceptions is that Earth
is the only planet, indeed the only place, in the solar
system that has water. Can you have a liquid water ocean
for 6 billion years and not have life in it? What kind
of life would develop inside a moon? This week we will
be talking about oceans on Earth and oceans in space.

so pro-whaling. This week an answer presents itself.
A statement made by one of the pro-whaling delegates
implies that whales are the reason that worldwide fish

come a long way in our battle to not pollute and degrade
our environment in the last two-hundred years or so.
One of the biggest victories in the environmental battle
was a 1982 international ban on commercial whaling.
The motion passed in the International Whaling Commission
by one vote and we all believed that the slaughter of
